'Fake priest' arrested in California, accused of stealing from churches nationwide
Authorities in California arrested a man this week for allegedly posing as a fake priest and stealing from numerous churches across the US.
Riverside County deputies say Malin Rostas used the alias of "Father Martin" to get access to churches and allegedly rob them.
The 45-year-old New York native was apprehended during a traffic stop and was booked for an outstanding felony warrant in Pennsylvania.
Police say additional charges are expected to be filed soon.

Meyersdale, Central claim state baseball championships
UNIVERSITY PARK - Two local teams claimed state championships Thursday at Penn State University’s Medlar Field.
Meyersdale defeated Clarion 2-0 in the PIAA Class A title game and Central triumphed over Holy Redeemer 8-3 in the Class AAA championship. For Meyersdale, winning pitcher Riley Christner struck out 12 batters for the Red Raiders, who finished the season 21-6.
Meyersdale lost to Vincentian Academy in last year’s title game.
Central capped off its season with the first ever state baseball championship for the school, as the Dragons jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the second inning and held on for the win.
