If the governor signs the proposed bill into law, any publicly funded educational institution would be required to prominently display the Ten Commandments on a poster or framed document. State police say a chase that began on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Monday evening ended in Huntingdon County and sent two people to the hospital.
Investigators say around 7:40 p.m., troopers attempted a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup truck, hauling a trailer, near the Turnpike's 172 eastbound mile marker in Taylor Township, Fulton County.
Troopers say the driver failed to stop and eventually exited the Turnpike at the Fort Littleton exit.

State police say a standoff began around 9 p.m. when a trooper noticed Steve Burns in a garage along Jackson Street.
Burns had a warrant out for domestic violence and a DUI.
Police say when the trooper pulled up to the garage, Burns and a woman, later identified as Kelly Fairgrieve, who is wanted in Maryland for escape and obstruction of justice, ran into the house and refused to come out.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Blair County District Attorney's office say a Claysburg man is behind bars following a "multi-department" child pornography investigation.
Investigators say 30-year-old Ethan Colpetzer, who was employed as a janitor at the Claysburg Elementary School, is accused of having dozens of photos, depicting child pornography, on his phone.
