Man killed following two-vehicle crash in Blair Co.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — State Police in Hollidaysburg say one person was killed Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash along Woodbury Pike in Taylor Township, Blair County. Investigators say the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. when the driver of a Subaru Legacy crossed into the northbound lane of travel and collided with a Ford Transit vehicle. Police say the driver of the Subaru was transported to Conemaugh Nason hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. [Read More]

PSU Model Railroad Club still searching for new home

University Park, PA (WJAC) — The Penn State Model Railroad Club had a display set up Thursday at the Hub on the University Park campus. The student club has been at Penn State since 1955 but has been without a permanent home for the past five years. Curwensville man accused of sexually assaulting teen, taking nude photos of her

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a Curwensville man is behind bars after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl and took nude photographs of her. Police say earlier this week, troopers received a report that the teen was solicited for nude photographs and "lured" from her home to engage in sexual activity by 47-year-old Robert Mallon III. Investigators say Mallon allegedly began contacting the teen, via Snapchat, in which he reportedly requested sexual photos from her. [Read More]

Local sportsmen's club offers unique experience with polar bear target

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) – — A shooting range in Johnstown transformed into the "North Pole" Saturday as people took their shot at shooting a polar bear target. The Daisytown Sportsmen Club hosted its 19th annual polar bear shoot. For $1 a shot, people were able to take a chance at hitting a polar bear target the club set up at its gun range.
