CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A Philipsburg man is facing sexual assault charges after forcing a child to perform sex acts with him Oct. 15, police say. According to a criminal complaint, David Heck, 18, was spotted by two witnesses in the woods naked with the child. Police said the witnesses noticed Heck was masturbating over the child and asked what they were doing. CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Richland Township man is behind bars following accusations that he physically and sexually assaulted a woman during a domestic dispute. According to the affidavit, Richland Township police were contacted on Monday to investigate an alleged assault that had occurred earlier that morning. Altoona, PA (WJAC) — An Altoona man wanted for attempting to shoot another man at a child's birthday party earlier this year is now in custody, according to online court records. Altoona police say 33-year-old Charles Mobley faces numerous charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault and robbery, from the April 23 incident. Authorities say Mobley was reportedly uninvited to the party due to a prior incident with the victim. WINDBER -- If you were driving through Windber in Somerset County Saturday afternoon, you may have noticed dozens of people draped in white sheets near the side of the road. That's because more than 200 people attempted to break a Guinness world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as ghosts. A Cambria County nurse received an excellence award Friday. DaVita Kidney Care presented Abby Salvador with a Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center's Atrium.
